MARS Energy Solutions is seeking motivated individuals for a Solar Electrician Apprentice role to learn installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems alongside experienced electricians.

This paid apprenticeship combines classroom education with hands-on field work; on-site training is provided for 40 hours per week, with travel across the Midwest. Opportunity to advance into Journeyman Electrician or Solar Electrician paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Electrical fundamentals training preferred
• OSHA 10 preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of solar panels, inverters, and racking systems.
• Learn to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documents.
• Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems.
• Assist with testing and commissioning electrical systems for safety and functionality.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in apprenticeship classes and training programs.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects safely and on schedule.
