Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centered team. You will interact with customers, assist pharmacists, and support prescription processing and inventory management while learning new skills through our ASHP-recognized apprenticeship.

The program combines hands-on experience with structured training to help you become a certified pharmacy technician, with opportunities to grow within Walgreens as you earn your certification.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Good math and computer skills; basic inventory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescription processing and data entry.
• Handle cash and process payments at the register.
• Support inventory management, stocking, and order fulfillment.
• Provide a friendly, helpful customer experience and build patient relationships.
