Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our patient-centered pharmacy team. You will interact with customers and help build strong relationships while assisting the pharmacist with prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.

The role offers an opportunity to participate in an ASHP & Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship program to pursue PTCB certification and advance in pharmacy care.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
• Process prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications and entering patient information.
• Handle cash transactions and assist customers to locate products.
• Support inventory management and maintain pharmacy supplies.
• Assist with clinical services as needed within pharmacy operations.
