The Boyd Group is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Starkville, MS to deliver quality repairs and an exceptional customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble vehicles and ensure work meets our speed and quality standards, while collaborating with the team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship. You must read job orders, use body shop tools, and stay safety-conscious in a noisy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and tools used in body repair.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts with appropriate components.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles to factory or agreed standards.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor guidelines and inspect final work.
