Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the Early Years Team in Uxbridge. You will assess and treat pre-school children with speech and language needs, while coaching parents and Early Years staff to embed therapy strategies.

The role emphasises safeguarding, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and opportunities for supervision and professional development within a supportive Early Years service.

Qualifications

• Qualified or soon-to-be qualified Speech and Language Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy service to pre school children with speech language and communication needs.
• Assess and diagnose children within community clinics and family hubs.
• Coach and model to parents and Early Years staff to develop children’s speech language and communication skills.
• Provide ongoing therapy through groups and individual sessions.
• Advise parents and other professionals around early identification, intervention and prevention.
• Prioritise the safeguarding of vulnerable children at all times.
