CNWL NHS Foundation Trust in Uxbridge is seeking a Band 6 speech and language therapist to join the Early Years team. The post involves assessing and treating pre-school children with speech, language and communication needs, delivering individual sessions and small group work.

You will provide guidance to parents and professionals, contribute to service development, and participate in regular supervision and reflective practice to ensure high quality care.

Formación

• Experience in paediatric speech and language therapy.
• Ability to assess and diagnose speech and language needs in young children.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy for pre-schoolers.

Responsabilidades

• To provide a specialist service to pre school children with speech language and communication needs.
• To be responsible for providing specialist assessment and diagnosis of children within Early Years settings
• To provide specialist ongoing therapy through individual therapy sessions and groups where appropriate
• To provide advice and training to parents and other professionals around early identification intervention and prevention.
• To contribute to, and provide feedback about, possible developments in the team
