Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Early Years Project across Cambridge and Somerville. You will consult in center-based and family childcare settings, manage a caseload, and collaborate with EYP teams to promote development and emotional regulation.

The role emphasizes neuro-relational approaches, staff coaching, and family partnerships, with part-time, fee-for-service scheduling and a focus on inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in OT and license/registration
• Five years of experience with children six and under is preferred
• Experience addressing sensory needs, dysregulation, and safety concerns
• Ability to coach childcare staff and provide family training

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations in licensed center-based and family childcare settings
• Maintain an individual caseload and support group activities
• Collaborate with EYP Consultants and educators to promote development and regulation
• Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate OT services
