Job summary

DSCC in Washington, DC is hiring an Early Vote Analyst for the 2026 cycle. You will work with early vote datasets and reporting products to assess battleground Senate races and provide updates to stakeholders through written and graphical reports.

The role reports to the Deputy National Data and Analytics Director and requires strong data visualization, SQL, and cross-department collaboration. This is a DC-based, office-based position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • At least one cycle of political experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Hex, Tableau, Google Data Studio, GIS, R, Python, Excel, Google Sheets).
  • 2+ years using SQL professionally.
  • Ability to build consensus across departments.
  • Track record of prioritizing projects and being self-directed.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses creative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate trends in early voting and ballot rejection/cure using historical and current data.
  • Write actionable analysis for DSCC stakeholders across teams.
  • Create reports and dashboards to explain early vote data to non-technical audiences.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into concrete reporting plans.
  • Document reporting products as they are rolled out.
