Qualifications

• Experience in experimentation in a materials science, thermal engineering or chemistry environment.
• Familiarity with product validation and certification test programs.
• Ability to design experiments and analyze data using statistical approaches.
• Experience with data acquisition and controls platforms including Beckhoff PLCs, LabJack, Arduino, National Instruments, etc.
• Comfort with the culture of advanced hardware technology development start-ups.

• Collaborating with material scientists and engineers to design experimental equipment and procedures.
• Executing exploratory experiments and debugging rapidly built prototypes.
• Planning and executing structured experiments to determine compliance with design targets.
• Data analysis using advanced statistics and data processing techniques.
• Planning and executing long term test campaigns and distilling out the knowledge generated.
• Reporting and discussing both the recent results and long-term learnings with the extended technical team.
