Job summary

Bangor Savings Bank is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist to work with borrowers in the early stages of delinquency. The role centers on direct communication to offer options and to minimize losses while helping customers avoid foreclosure.

You will manage outreach queues, gather financial information, and assess borrower circumstances. Coordinate with property managers and investors when needed, requiring strong communication and guideline navigation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College, business or banking training helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communications required.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers during early stages of delinquency to find mutually acceptable solutions in accordance with Bank policy and Investor guidelines.
• Maintain high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Review customer and property information to designate appropriate notices and information within deadlines.
• Coordinate services of property management companies to inspect, protect, and preserve collateral within guidelines.
• Evaluate loans to determine notices to be sent if early intervention fails.
• Transition loans to other Special Assets team members as appropriate.
