Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking a warehouse associate to unload, receive, sort, and prepare orders for delivery in a fast-paced, cold-storage environment. You will use an RF handheld device to scan and fulfill orders, build and transport pallets, and ensure timely readiness for our professional drivers.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work in refrigerated/freezer environment (0–36°F).
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and place incoming inventory items.
• Operate RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items for orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets for delivery.
• Prepare orders for pickup by delivery drivers.
