Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual counseling, conduct clinical assessments, and design treatment plans within outpatient clinics. You will coordinate care, collaborate with nurses and providers, and assist with discharge planning.

The role features a consistent schedule, with hours roughly 37–40 per week, and opportunities for advancement as you gain licensure and experience.

Qualifications

• General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients.
• Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs.
• Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning.
• Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements.
• Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services.
• Facilitates urine drug screening for patients.
