Job summary

Scott County School District - KY Garth Elementary School in Georgetown, KY is seeking a First Shift Custodian. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Accredited GED required.
• Demonstrate aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor such as lifting garbage bags that weigh 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains boilers and major equipment.
• Supervises painting and general repairs to plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical areas.
• Replaces broken windows and assists in remodeling and renovation work.
• Maintains school grounds and assists in snow removal.
• Supervises and participates in general cleaning and maintenance of the building.
• Requisitions and inventories supplies and equipment.
• Ensures building security and safety, opens/closes the building daily.
