Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Gaylord, Minnesota, is hiring for a position in the precooked egg area. Shifts start between 5:30am-7:00am and end between 2:30pm-3:30pm, depending on business needs.

You will prepare and package products in the precooked area and ensure quality and safety throughout preparation and packaging processes. Responsibilities include inspecting ovens, realigning products, sanitizing, adding fillings where needed, folding omelets, counting patties, and assembling packaging.

Qualifications

• Education and experience not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product from ovens for size, shape, color and weight to meet specs.
• Realign products before entering the freezer to ensure flat, uniform final product.
• Inspect product before robot to sort damages during freezing and ensure conformity to standards.
• Sanitation duties as necessary.
• Add filling to products where required.
• Fold omelets or squares.
• Count patties and place the proper quantity in each case.
• Assemble boxes and insert bags.
• Adhere to safety policies and GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions and report concerns affecting food safety or quality.
• Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
