Job summary

HomeGrown is Liberty’s daytime eatery focused on kindness and local partnerships. We’re seeking a General Utility / Dishwasher to join the Kitchen Team and help keep areas clean, assist in food prep and support all kitchen departments. You’ll be home by 3 pm and work in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Responsibilities include pre-rinsing, washing, preparing basic prep tasks, handling trash, and keeping surfaces sanitary. Equal opportunity employer; full-time benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly manner.
• Assist in food preparation activities and cross-train in kitchen roles.
• Scrape and pre-rinse dirty dishes and operate the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Complete assigned prep work and manage waste disposal.
• Clean tables, walls, refrigeration equipment, and floors.
• Assemble and maintain the dish machine, break down as needed.
