Job summary

HomeGrown is a daytime eatery focused on kindness and community. We’re hiring a Dishwasher (Kitchen Team Member) to keep pots, pans, and utensils sparkling while supporting all areas of the restaurant. This fast-paced role helps our kitchen run smoothly and ends by 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for up to 10 hours per day.
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to work in a high-stress environment.
• Willingness to help with maintenance and prep duties and assist other stations.
• Capable of using knives and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Able to transport cases up to 50 pounds and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Scrap, scrub, wash, and sanitize pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and utensils.
• Complete prep work following recipes as written.
• Set up workstation and maintain sanitation throughout the shift.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
• Assist with putting away deliveries.
