Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time kitchen/dishroom helper. Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment.

The role requires consistent work in a dining service setting with adherence to cleaning schedules and procedures. The position supports a team-oriented kitchen, with opportunities for benefits and a stable full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 10:30-7:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate within an interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and move frequently.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties.
• Wash utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for dining room reset.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen areas.
• Clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher, and shining stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room and kitchen floors and storage areas.
