Job summary

eSalon seeks an experienced Compounder to join our El Segundo Operations team. You will hand-assemble hair dye and care products, pre-weigh raw materials, and operate diverse compounding equipment in a clean, controlled environment.

The position reports to the Lead Mechanical Engineer and runs Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM on-site. A minimum of one year in manufacturing, strong math and data-entry skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Basic math, data-entry and computer skills; ability to learn Google Workspace and Slack.
• Ability to safely operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with cGMPs, sanitation, safety procedures and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pre-weigh raw ingredients according to formulas and weight tolerances.
• Operate pumps, mixers, tanks, kegs, drums and other compounding equipment.
• Perform tank filling, cleaning, drum/keg changes for bulk batches.
• Maintain inventory records and support cycle counts with Warehouse team.
• Document batch data and production records accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspect equipment and safety devices.
