Job summary

Talantir is seeking an Early Research & Development Scientist in Tucson, AZ, onsite, contract role focusing on tissue pathology, staining, and digital imaging. The role blends wet lab work, digital pathology, and data-driven experiments to support early product development and imaging innovations.

The candidate will lead tissue-based experiments, employ DOE, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to AI-enabled workflows and GMP/GLP-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• PhD (entry-level) or Master’s with 3+ years of relevant experience in tissue pathology workflows.
• Hands-on tissue sectioning, IHC and staining techniques.
• Strong understanding of experimental design and data analysis.
• Experience maintaining lab documentation in ELN and familiarity with GMP/GLP environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue-based experiments including sectioning and staining.
• Conduct IHC and other staining workflows; apply DOE for experiments.
• Analyze data and interpret results to drive process improvements.
• Use digital pathology and image analysis tools to evaluate tissue samples.
• Document all lab activities in GMP/GLP-compliant records; prepare reports and protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to stakeholders.
