Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a technical leader to provide oversight and lifecycle management for externally manufactured drug substance candidates within the Process Chemistry function of CMC. This role partners with QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to ensure compliant, scalable production of API materials.

Requirements include a Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience, or a Bachelor’s with 8+ years; strong GMP knowledge;

Qualifications

• Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field required or Bachelor’s with 8+ years experience.
• Strong GMP knowledge and experience in drug substance manufacturing, data analysis, and technical documentation review.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve batch documentation.
• Monitor process parameters and trends; lead root-cause investigations.
• Support process improvements and tech transfers; coordinate with Process Development.
• Troubleshoot deviations related to GMP-compliant API manufacturing.
