Job summary

Parexel Early Phase Clinical Unit is seeking a Laboratory Technician who will, after training, handle processing of biological specimens and a range of diagnostic tests in a fast-paced lab environment. You will ensure correct sample handling, organize equipment and study documentation, and support inventory and logistics as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in a professional lab setting or through university courses.
Shipping and receiving experience is highly preferred.
Understanding of laboratory procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities

Collect, process, and store human biological specimens per protocol.
Perform standard diagnostic tests (e.g., pregnancy tests, urinalysis, drugs of abuse).
Prepare and organize lab equipment, facilities, documentation, and study schedules.
Identify and solve study-related issues and escalate to supervisor when needed.
Assist with storage and management of consumables inventory.
Coordinate with Shipping & Logistics to arrange sample transport.
Maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment and collaborate across teams.
