Job summary

Diakon Logistics, Inc. in Richmond, VA is hiring warehouse staff to move products safely and efficiently. You will report to the Operations Manager and work with the Delivery Supervisor to keep items flowing through receiving, staging and shipping areas.

This is a full-time on-site role with a 6-day workweek and a 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM shift. The hourly rate is $18–$20, DOE, plus medical benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and paid vacations and holidays.

Qualifications

• Forklift/clamp truck experience is a plus.
• Safety management experience preferred.
• Inventory control and management experience a plus.
• Physical job with lifting.

Responsibilities

• Determines moving requirements by obtaining work orders and manifests.
• Retrieves inventory by locating materials, stacking/ securing, and moving to staging/transport.
• Maintains inventory and shipping records by logging activities.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment following procedures and regulations.
• Completes warehousing/shipping tasks to support operations goals.
