Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking store team members in Oceanside, NY to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout experiences. You’ll engage customers with rewards programs, support omni-channel processes, and help maintain a well-stocked, inviting store environment.

You’ll participate in truck unloads, stock shelves, follow SOPs, and assist with framing services when cross-trained. The role emphasizes teamwork and customer-first service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Stocking and planogram duties; participate in truck unloads
• Maintain in-stock store and handle merchandise returns/go-backs
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP adherence
• Interact professionally with customers and teammates; model company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
