Job summary

Michaels is seeking an in-store team member for our CHI-ALGONQUIN, IL location to help customers, process checkouts, and support merchandising and stock duties. You will engage customers with our rewards program and assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.

The role requires a friendly attitude, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods. Must be 16 or older with retail or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years or older as of hire.
• Able to stand long periods and lift items as part of store duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Execute fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Card.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store).
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram compliance.
• Maintain in-stock condition and assist with merchandise recovery and store recovery.
