King Arthur Baking Company, in Norwich, VT, is seeking a Production Kitchen Assistant II to prepare sandwiches, soups, salads, and ready-to-eat meals for the Café and Catering program. You will ensure quality, taste, and consistency while adhering to food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen, with early start times.

This full-time, year‑round role requires weekend availability and offers compensation of $19.10 to $20.17 per hour, plus a $1,000 sign‑on bonus after 90 days and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
• Proficiency in following recipes and knife skills.
• Ability to prep and produce sandwiches, soups, salads and meals.
• Demonstrates capability to transition prior experience to this role.

Responsabilités

• Produce sandwiches, soups, salads, and refrigerated/frozen meals in a commercial kitchen.
• Test and introduce new items, and offer feedback for process improvements.
• Label, rotate, and preserve product freshness; minimize waste.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and comply with sanitation standards.
