Job summary

King Arthur Baking Company is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for our Norwich, VT flagship location. You will support customers, operate POS systems, and help keep displays stocked and attractive during our busy season. A friendly, flexible approach and baking knowledge are a plus.

The role is seasonal, part-time from mid‑August to November, with approximately 24 hours per week and weekend availability required. Eligible for store discounts and a retention bonus upon completion.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a retail or related field.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems.
• Baking knowledge a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs, provide product information and recommendations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and address concerns promptly.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain attractive, fully stocked displays and assist with inventory management.
• Help meet monthly sales goals by engaging with customers and driving sales.
• Follow all safety, food, and workplace regulations.
