Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a part-time Material Handler in Savannah, GA. You will operate equipment to move packages, pallets and hazardous items, and assist with pallet buildup/breakdown of heavyweight freight.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, and work in a noisy environment. A valid driver's license and successful drug/criminal checks are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages of any weight over 50 lbs using equipment or assistance.
• Walk and stand for designated work hours; able to bend and squat.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight and dangerous goods.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison with ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
