Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler in Mason City, IA. You will load, unload, and sort freight to support fast, accurate deliveries and keep the warehouse running smoothly.

Starting at 5:00 AM Tuesday through Saturday, you’ll handle hand-packing, scanning, and packing optimization, with a pay rate of $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
