Chick-fil-A Friendswood is hiring a Back of House Team Member responsible for food preparation and kitchen safety during morning shifts from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. You will ensure quality and efficiency while upholding Chick-fil-A standards.

The role emphasizes careful portioning, waste reduction, and teamwork. You will follow safety procedures, monitor temperatures, and keep stations clean and organized to deliver fast, accurate service.

Qualifications

• Must follow food safety guidelines and maintain quality.
• Able to work mornings and afternoons with reliable attendance.
• Willingness to learn kitchen procedures and procedures.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chick-fil-A menu items according to brand standards
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Monitor food temperatures, holding times, and product quality
• Ensure all food is fresh, accurate, and served with consistency
• Carefully manage portioning and product levels to reduce unnecessary food waste
• Monitor waste and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and product usage
• Keep kitchen stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
• Follow proper procedures for handling raw and cooked products
• Work efficiently with team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations
• Complete daily cleaning and closing tasks efficiently and thoroughly
