Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Fredericksburg, VA to move materials within the distribution center using standup forklifts. You’ll work a pre-dawn shift and must be comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency to support our nationwide distribution network. Responsibilities include loading and placing product, following aisle specs, and recording shifts in the system.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift and RF Scanner/RF Utility preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and equipment.
