Dohrn Transfer Company is hiring a Full Time Dockworker at our Kansas City, MO Terminal. Pay starts at $25.81/hour and rises to $28.65/hour on the first anniversary, with shifts Tue-Sat from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Benefits include health/vision/dental, 401k matching, life, and disability insurance.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, ensuring DOT compliance, and handling a variety of materials. Candidates must read and write English and pass pre-employment screens.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a non-DOT physical examination and drug screen.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs infrequently.
• Must be at-will employment and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trucks in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Convey freight to and from trailers and storage areas by hand or with equipment.
• Read shipping labels and follow loading instructions accurately.
• Operate forklifts, carts, dollies, and pallet jacks safely.
• Process paperwork daily related to job execution.
