Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a full-time Cook for the P&G Cape Girardeau Plant in Jackson, MO. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–4:00 pm, with pay range $17.00–$22.00 per hour. Online applications are accepted only.

Responsibilities include preparing food per standardized recipes, ensuring proper temperatures, and maintaining HACCP standards. Prior cooking experience is required; internal employee referrals are noted.

Qualifications

• Previous 2 to 3 years of cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Follows HACCP standards and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
