Job summary

Canadian Bakin Bread is seeking a Baking Assistant/Food Prep team member to help bake items, assemble sandwiches, and provide friendly customer service. You will design, execute, and improve recipes, perform quality checks, and keep a well-stocked bakery running smoothly.

The role requires early morning shifts (as early as 4am), strong teamwork, and meticulous attention to food quality. Training provided; tips are included and compensation negotiable by experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work early morning hour shifts, starting as early as 4am
• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit with a customer-focused attitude
• Attention to detail during quality inspections on ingredients and products

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
• Measure and mix ingredients using mixers and blenders
• Test ingredients and finished goods for quality and safety
• Troubleshoot recipes in a fast-paced environment
• Restock workstations and sanitize equipment for next shift
• Greet customers and answer questions about orders
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly
