Job summary

The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District seeks an Early Literacy Coach to support Pre-K–5 literacy in Dickinson and Iron Counties. This full-time, school-year position is based at the DIISD Administration Building with a wage on the Education Association pay grid and comprehensive benefits including dental and vision insurance.

The coach reports to the Director of General Education, facilitates professional learning, uses data to guide instruction, and helps teachers implement

Qualifications

Current or valid teaching certificate is required.
Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum of 5 years Pre-K-5 classroom experience.
Background in ELA and Reading with literacy focus.
Master’s Degree in literacy preferred or equivalent professional development.

Responsibilities

Plan professional learning and supports with literacy coaches.
Use observational data and formative assessment to guide learning.
Utilize technology to enhance professional learning and coaching.
Support MTSS-aligned literacy instruction and progress monitoring.
