Qualifications

• At least five years of successful elementary classroom teaching experience.
• Demonstrated success working with struggling readers.
• Strong knowledge of reading, writing, literacy development, and how children learn to read.
• Experience implementing high-quality reading curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, classroom-based literacy coaching to teachers.
• Strengthen implementation of evidence-based reading and writing instruction.
• Use student assessment data to improve instructional decision-making.
• Support school-wide literacy goals and continuous instructional improvement.
• Build teacher capacity through professional learning, modeling, feedback, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify students needing additional instructional support.
