Job summary

Trying Together seeks a Program Coordinator to support the Homewood Early Learning Hub & Family Center in Pittsburgh. The role provides event planning, small-group facilitation, and staff coordination to advance the nonprofit’s mission of high-quality early care and education.

Responsibilities include scheduling, outreach, data entry in NeonCRM, and collaborating with partners. The position requires evening/weekend availability a few times monthly and a commitment to equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience in early childhood education/development, or human/social services working with children and families.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; strong internet research skills.
• High level of organizational skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience presenting and running small group events.
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends a few times a month.

• Keep Hub & Family Center welcoming and well-maintained.
• Leverage NeonCRM to build relationships and track data.
• Collaborate across Trying Together departments.
