Georgetown University invites applications for a Temporary Assistant Child Care Teacher at the Georgetown Law Early Learning Center, located near the U.S. Capitol.

You will foster a nurturing learning environment, implement age-appropriate activities, and ensure safe spaces for children of faculty, staff and students. The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with policies, and ongoing professional development, including First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CDA OR Associate degree (or higher) in any subject area; OR
• High school diploma + 60 college credit hours; OR
• State OSSE-approved CDA-equivalent certificate.
• Ability to pass background checks and OSSE/Georgetown requirements.
• Flexible team player with strong communication and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Implement developmentally appropriate education activities and nurturing care.
• Create and maintain a safe, healthy environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with families.
• Collaborate with the Georgetown Law Early Learning Center team.
• Comply with licensing, policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds and work outdoors in varied weather.
