• A bachelor’s degree may substitute for all general and specialized experience.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates healthy, challenging learning environments and experiences; greets children and guides behavior.
• Implements and assesses learning experiences with planning and centers; supervises activities.
• Observes and documents children's development and learning progress.
• Ensures health and safety; assists with toileting, handwashing, meals, and safety.
• Prepares materials and environments for learning; adapts spaces as needed.
• Supervises before, during, and after class activities.

Education

High school graduation or equivalent

ParaPro/ParaPathways exam

48 bachelor-level credits (3 math, 3 English)

Associate degree or higher

Bachelor degree or higher substituting for all experience
