Yellow Brick Road is seeking an Educator’s Aide to support Lead Educators in creating a warm, inclusive learning environment where children can thrive. You will help implement engaging activities, supervise students, maintain classroom routines, and communicate with families daily.

Qualifications include DHS Educator’s Aide requirements, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 40lbs. CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days is expected.

Qualificações

• Must meet the Department of Human Services (DHS) Educator’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Previous experience with young children in childcare is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 40lbs; bending, stooping, kneeling.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and meet licensing requirements.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Lead Educator in implementing play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Help maintain a positive classroom culture that fosters belonging, safety, and curiosity.
• Provide active supervision to ensure safety and engagement in activities.
• Assist in observing and recording developmental milestones.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of the classroom and equipment.
• Support positive behavior guidance strategies.
• Greet families during drop-off/pick-up and share updates via the center’s platform.
