Job summary

Yellow Brick Road is seeking an Educator’s Aide to support teachers in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where children thrive and develop foundational skills for lifelong success. You will collaborate with staff to promote social-emotional growth, curiosity, and consistent daily routines while upholding our core values.

The role emphasizes assisting with lesson plans, supervising young students, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Department of Human Services (DHS) Educator’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 40 lbs and being on feet or seated for extended periods.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and meet state licensing requirements for working in a childcare setting.
• Must possess a valid CPR/First Aid certification, or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment.
