Yellow Brick Road seeks an Assistant Educator to support the Lead Educator in delivering play-based, age-appropriate activities that foster physical, cognitive, and social growth. You will help maintain a warm classroom, promote belonging, and ensure routines are followed, while building collaborative relationships with families.

Responsibilities include supervising students, documenting development progress, and assisting with classroom management, cleaning, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Department of Human Services (DHS) Assistant Teacher qualification requirements.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Lead Educator in implementing play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early learning standards.
• Help maintain a positive classroom culture that fosters belonging, safety, and curiosity.
• Supervise and engage with students to ensure safety and active participation in daily activities.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of the classroom to maintain a clean, sanitary environment.
• Communicate daily progress with families via the company’s Parent Communication app under guidance.
