Job summary

SRVS is hiring a part-time Early Interventionist in Memphis, TN. This bilingual PRN role offers a $20/hour wage and provides paid training with flexible scheduling.

You will support adolescents in behavioral programming, using developed strategies to promote independence and social engagement within their daily routines. We encourage compassionate, dedicated professionals seeking meaningful work that improves lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology
• Minimum of one-year experience working with 0-5 year olds

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of adolescent males in programming using acceptable behavioral management principles; exercise independent judgment in crisis situations
• Training and support for participants
• Enhancing child engagement in daily activities
• Identifying and incorporating developmental strategies in daily routines
• Providing functional independence and social interaction
• Collaborating with families; providing information and resources to reach goals and milestones
• Discuss issues important to the family; provide all information and resources needed to reach goals
• Address IFSP outcomes by leveraging family strengths and guiding learning opportunities
• Provide individual developmental therapy sessions
• Participate and collaborate in IFSP meetings
• Complete all required documentation for SRVS, funders, licensing/accreditation entities

What You’ll Do

• Individualized Planning: Address the IFSP (Individual Family Support Plan) outcomes by building upon the family's strengths and guide them to maximizing learning opportunities for their child within the context of their daily routines.
• Provides individual developmental therapy sessions
• Participates an collaborates in IFSP meetings
• Administrative: Complete all documentation as required by SRVS, Funder, licensing/accreditation entities.
