Ionia County Intermediate School District is seeking an Early Interventionist-Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team serving birth to three through the Early On and Michigan Mandatory Special Education Programs. You will conduct child evaluations, family assessments, and develop family plans.

Responsibilities include home visits, tele-visits, coaching parents, and working within a primary service provider model to support families and caregivers.

• LARA-licensed Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Other considerations include MSW, ZA/ZS, or SLP licensure eligibility.
• Ability to work a year-round position.
• Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff and community.

Salary Range: $50,133 - $94,040; based on the IIEA Master Agreement

About The Role

This position will join a multi-disciplinary team of early interventionists that provide supports to families and children age birth to three participating in the Early On and Michigan Mandatory Special Education Programs. Child evaluations, family assessments, development of family plans, home visits, tele-visits, coaching parents and working within a primary service provider model are components of the work.

Qualifications Desired

• License via LARA as a Registered Occupational Therapist
• Other considerations for this position may include a School Social Worker (MSW), Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (ZA or ZS endorsed), Speech & Language Pathologist (eligible for LARA licensure)
• Ability to work a year round position
• Interpersonal skills which promote positive personal relationships with students, parents, staff and community is required
