Job summary

Davies Institute for Speech & Hearing in Katy, TX, invites applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant in our Early Intervention Classroom at the Davies Development Center. You will support daily instruction and caregiving for children ages 12 months to 5 years with hearing loss and related developmental needs, alongside teachers, SLPs, and audiologists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an early childhood, preschool, or child care setting.
• Familiar with routines of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to remain calm in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with implementing daily lessons and activities.
• Support listening, language, and social skills 1:1 or in small groups.
• Model use of speech, signs, visuals, and communication devices as needed.
• Help with feeding, diapering, potty training, and ADLs.
