We are seeking a committed professional to fill a full-time Early Intervention Supervisor position supporting our mission and services. This role plays a vital part in delivering quality outcomes and serving our community.

Responsibilities

The Early Intervention (EI) Service Coordinator Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision, coaching, and quality assurance for Early Intervention Service Coordinators under Virginias Infant & Toddler Connection (ITC) requirements and Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This position ensures the delivery of high quality, family-centered service coordination and developmental services for infants and toddlers (birth to age three) with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families. The EI Service Coordination Supervisor monitors and supports program staff to ensure their fulfillment of State-Mandated Service Coordination responsibilities, provides evidence-based practice as a developmental professional providing individualized consumer services, and ensures full compliance with Early Intervention rules, agency policies, and procedures.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in early childhood education, special education, social work, human services, or related field.
  • At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Valid Drivers License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Preferred
  • Masters degree in early childhood education, special education, social work, human services, or related field.
Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, family systems, and family-centered practices.
  • Knowledge of IDEA Part C, Virginia ITC policies, and service coordination requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and coach staff to achieve professional growth and compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in documentation systems, data management, and Microsoft Office
  • Be eligible to receive the Virginia Part C Early ntervention Professional Credentials or obtain the Family & Consumer Sciences certification from The American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences within 12 weeks of hire that will meet the Part C requirements

Annual Salary Range

Grade S-C9

$60,863.00 - $68,471.00
