Early Intervention (EI) offers meaningful, relationship‑based therapy for infants and toddlers (birth–3 years). No EI experience required—training, mentorship, and clinical support are provided. New graduates and experienced pediatric SLPs are welcome.
What Is Early Intervention? EI provides pediatric speech therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to three) with developmental delays or disabilities. SLPs deliver therapy in a child’s natural environment, including the child’s home, childcare or daycare settings, and community spaces.

Responsibilities
- Provide Speech Language Pathologist sessions through the use of current best practices based on services defined in the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Work with families/caregivers in the child’s natural environment and throughout the community while supporting the families daily routines.
- Collaborate with other professionals that support the child/family to aid in the achievement of outlined goals.
- Maintain all documentation of service delivery required by the program. This includes session notes, quarterly progress summaries, and annual IFSP input.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
- Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC‑SLP).
- Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
