Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Mesa, AZ is hiring an Early Intervention Specialist to support development in children ages 2-6. You will apply behavioral and developmental strategies to help growth, while teaching skills that lay a foundation for learning.

This full‑time role offers $21.50–$28.50 per hour, regular bonuses, and opportunities for promotion. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, provide family coaching, and participate in paid training at multiple centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required (RBT BACB attestation preferred).
• Interest in and experience working with children; diverse backgrounds welcome.
• Preference for candidates in a degree program or with a degree.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality essential.
• Must meet physical requirements describing lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent movement.

Early Intervention Specialist - Riverview Soar Autism Center

Compensation $21.50 - $28.50/hour

Description

Soar Autism Center is hiring for an Early Intervention Specialist to be part of our transformative team dedicated to fostering the development of children with autism. As a care provider at our center, you will apply behavioral and developmental strategies to assist in our children’s development. In turn, you will teach skills that provide a critical foundation for a child's growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive one-on-one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2-6, emphasizing a nurturing and encouraging environment.
• Implement care plans under the guidance of our clinical team, ensuring they are suitable for the learning and growth of children.
• Build relationships with children's families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, is required (as verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification).
• Interest in and experience working with children -- we are open to a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences in working with with kids.
• Preference given to those currently in a degree program or holding a degree.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential.
• Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client.
