Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring an Early Intervention Specialist to support children aged 2-6 with behavioral and developmental strategies in a nurturing, center-based setting. You will work one-on-one and cooperate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to implement individualized care plans that promote growth and learning.

Responsibilities include building strong relationships with families, participating in ongoing training, and contributing to a collaborative, purpose-driven work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, verified by resume or BACB attestation.
• Interest in and experience working with children; diverse backgrounds welcomed.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Soar Autism Center is hiring for an Early Intervention Specialist to be part of our transformative team dedicated to fostering the development of children with autism. As a care provider at our center, you will apply behavioral and developmental strategies to assist in our children's development. In turn, you will teach skills that provide a critical foundation for a child's growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive one‑on‑one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2-6, emphasizing a nurturing and encouraging environment
• Implement care plans under the guidance of our clinical team, ensuring they are suitable for the learning and growth of children
• Build relationships with children's families

What The Job Is Like

• Challenges: Can be demanding at times working with children, some routine care like diaper changes

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, is required (as verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification)
• Interest in and experience working with children – we are open to a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences in working with kids
• Preference given to those currently in a degree program or holding a degree
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential
• Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
