Job summary

Family of Kidz in New York seeks a Special Educator EI to provide individualized lessons to children in Early Intervention, aligned with IFSP goals, during school hours. This role may be part-time or full-time depending on caseload.

Responsibilities include developing creative lessons, reporting progress, communicating with supervisors and the multidisciplinary team, submitting billing, attending IFSP meetings, and maintaining professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with multiple professionals.
• Bilingual with preferred language skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in an Early Intervention Program providing individualized lessons aligned with IFSP goals.
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on IFSP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IFSP goals and generate 6 month reports on progress.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Attend IFSP meetings and maintain accurate attendance and electronic billing daily.
