Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with ASD.
• New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education - Birth-Grade 2 or All Grades.
• Salary stated as $70 - $90 BI-WEEKLY.
• PER DIEM work schedule.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for children with ASD and related developmental disabilities.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive educational programs tailored to the needs of children aged 0-3
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for each child
• Assess and evaluate student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instructional strategies
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support across settings
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early intervention and special education
